Early Forte-Piano Musical Box
By Brian Chesters

I have had this music box for some time and have just put it for sale
on eBay. It has been suggested that it is an early Forte-Piano type
with pins of different heights. The reason suggested is that it has
a 4-blade governor fan and it takes 1 minute 20 seconds to cover one
revolution. In my opinion, this could be because it is a 2-per-turn
cylinder. I would appreciate any comments though.
