Musical Box & Organ Rally, St. Paul, MN, 25 May 2003
By Francy Reitz

The Snowbelt Chapter of MBSI would like to invite everyone to
"Mechanical Melodies by Lake Como", to be held on Sunday, May 25,
from noon to 5:00 p.m., at Como Park in St. Paul, Minnesota. Response
to our rally last year was so positive and enthusiastic that we are
returning again this year. There will be street and band organs and
also table top antique music boxes and more.

The rally will take place near the Como Lakeside Pavilion, 1360
N. Lexington Parkway, St. Paul. Other attractions in Como Park
include the 68-horse Cafesjian's Carousel, PTC #33 with its expertly
restored Wurlitzer 153 (www.ourfaircarousel.org), a zoo, the Marjorie
McNeely Conservatory, picnic grounds, swimming and wading pools, an
historic streetcar station, golf course, tennis courts, and of course,
Lake Como and the Pavilion (www.ci.stpaul.mn.us/depts/parks/). The
park is two miles north of Interstate 94 on Lexington Parkway.

This event is open to the public free of charge. We hope MMD friends
will come visit us.
