New "O" Roll Available from Play-Rite
By Bill Masterman

Steve Bentley has done it again. He created some fabulous new
orchestrion style "O" rolls some years back, and they quickly became
my favorites. So, when I heard the news about a year ago that he was
developing his fourth "O" roll, I became anxious to check it out.

My box arrived from Play-Rite the other day. I excitedly spooled up
my new copy of "SB-4". Wow! 14 toe-tapping tunes, as good if not
better than Steve's previous work. As usual, there is a very good use
of percussion, besides his particular arranging flare that is different
from all others.

If you have an O-roll machine, you owe it to yourself to check out this
new roll. It is just now available from Play-Rite for the first time.
If you have any of Steve's previous three O-rolls, then you already
know what I am talking about. I believe that Play-Rite also still
sells his previous rolls, SB-1 through SB-3. Play-Rite can be reached
at 209-632-5784.

Disclaimer: I was not hired, bribed, or forced to make this post. :-)
I have just been so anxious to hear this new roll, and am thrilled with
the result. Thank you, Steve, for keeping our orchestrions humming.
I hope there will be an SB-5 some day.
