Disc Musical Box Size Statistics
By Kevin McElhone

I am doing some research on certain types of disc musical boxes and
wonder if anyone can help with the following:-

1. What is the largest diameter disc played by a maniville mechanism?
(wound by hand, not a clockwork motor).

2. What is the smallest size of disc musical box with _double_ combs?
(2 teeth plucked per starwheel, not Symphonion offset combs).

3. What is the smallest size of disc musical box with added bells?

4. What is the highest number of bells on a disc musical box?

I am looking to buy a Polyphon style 70G with 4 bells.
Also want discs for Polyphon style 70G, 71G, 72G, 73G (36 cm size).
