For sale: I have a Welte-Mignon Vorsetzer, an early model, in
unrestored condition. It is complete and has not been touched by
any restorer so you will be getting something much easier to restore.
The casework is a very rich cherry like mahogany, and this colour is
original and not due to fading. Again, it is complete with what seems
to be all the original electrics including the motor. It was
originally sold in Scotland.
With the instrument are available a good library of nearly 100 rolls.
Most are originals in good condition but there are, in addition, a
selected number of high quality recut rolls produced in Germany. The
list of rolls is available for those seriously interested.
The instrument is being sold as due to my health I am having to look
at rationalising my collection -- and I do wonder if I ever would get
round to completing a full restoration to the standard such a fine
instrument needs. Further information please email me. This is an
excellent instrument and this will be born out by my expected price.
