Street Organ in Movie "Operation Amsterdam"
By Bernard Harris

Whilst on this subject perhaps the film "Operation Amsterdam" should
be mentioned. This film features, I believe, the Dutch Street Organ
"De Cello" playing two special compositions by Philip Green for the
film entitled "Pierement Waltz" and "Amsterdam Polka", these two items
being subsequently released on a 45 rpm single.

I would be interested to know something of the history of this organ
and current whereabouts (I think it went to the US) if anybody is in
possession of this information.

Best wishes from the UK

Bernard Harris
