Disklavier "Thermostat" Message
By Stephen Buck

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

Does any one please know what the problem is when the word "Thermostat"
is displayed on the Disklavier and it stops working? Any one know how
to fix it?

[ If the over-temperature sensor is a cheap bimetallic switch, as
[ commonly installed in automobiles (radiator fan switch) and household
[ appliances (clothes dryer over-temperature interlock), in my
[ experience the sensor itself has probably corroded and failed!
