Loading an Orchestrion Into a Trailer
By Jim Divoky

After perusing the archives, I have found some good info from Mr.
Bullock on getting an upright up on a piano dolly. I need to move
a built-up nickelodeon so my question is how do I get it up on a U-Haul
trailer? Unfortunately, I won't have available four people capable of
lifting 800 lbs.

In the past with heavy items I have used two 4x4 foot pieces of plywood
as a ramp and a come-along, but this doesn't seem like a good idea with
a piano. Are there any tricks or recommendations? The movers want
$600 and the nickelodeon already shows evidence of moving damage so
I'm not real comfortable with that solution.
