This is in response to Tom Lear's note (in MMD 030310) about the 1955
English film "The Lady Killers", part of the Alec Guinness legacy.
Tom, and everyone else who happens to be a movie buff, or simply
occasionally interested, should know that an amazing outfit called
"Movies Unlimited", based in Philadelphia, sells it (and all the other
Guinness films) on DVD for $20.00
Their service is reliable and they have a truly-amazing array of films
of every type, much of it still on VHS (because of lesser demand) but
a great deal of DVD transfers not readily seen in the usual outlets.
Prices range from $14.99 up. Interested parties may contact them at
(e-mail) <www.movies unlimited.com>; (phone) 1-800-4-MOVIES, or fax
1-215-637-2350. I have no connection with the firm, as is I hope,
clear, just wanting to help. After purchase and their supply of a
quarterly catalog, you are eligible to buy their mammoth _complete_
catalog for $5.00. You could spend years going through it... Well,
maybe not quite years. Cheers!
