New Recuts of "Carmen" & "Mosquitos Parade"
By Joyce Brite
I am proud to announce the release of two new 88-note piano roll
recuts. The first is the Overture from "Carmen". It's a recut of the
Themodist-Metrostyle roll and is a wonderful arrangement. It sounds
the way you want this terrific piece of music to sound. It's great for
either an electric piano or a foot pumper.
The other is "Mosquitos Parade." Some of you may remember the story
of how I found this roll in MMD 2002.06.19. "Mosquitos Parade" is
one of the songs included in Ian Whitcomb's "Titanic" CD of tunes that
survivors recalled hearing during the tragic voyage. I've had a number
of requests for this roll and now have it available.
I would like to thank Janet Tonnesen and Custom Music Rolls for the
fine job of scanning and recutting, and an extra hug for getting it
done so quickly.
