Freezing a Gulbransen Glued Action Stack
By Paul Phills

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

I am in the process of rebuilding the stacks on my 1921 Gulbransen
player. To dissemble the stack boards, has anyone had any experience
in freezing the boards and then, while the glue is crystallized,
breaking them apart? A friend of mine who works with Styrofoam said
he can make me a box to hold the stack and the dry ice to freeze it.
Will this work?
