Hi Group, Jeff Agee asked about Kingston pianos. From Presto's Buyers
guide 1926:
"Kingston: Pianos and player-pianos bearing this name are made by The
Rudolph Wurlitzer Company. The Kingston is a handsome and in every
way desirable instrument. Main offices in Cincinnati. Factory at
North Tonawanda, N.Y."
From The Pierce Piano Atlas 10th Edition: "Kingston, By Wurlitzer."
If it follows the Wurlitzer number scheme 31169 would have been
manufactured in 1917. 1917 starts with 28000 and 1918 starts with
32000.
I am surprised that there would be a Coinola player (mfd. by Operators
Piano Company) in a Wurlitzer piano.
