Creating Suction from Airflow - Venturi Vacuum
By Jim Cook

Robinaire Manufacturing Corp., a supplier of refrigeration repair tools,
makes a small venturi vacuum pump which uses shop air (100 to 150 psi)
to evacuate refrigeration systems. It is, however a low volume, high
vacuum pump, and it would not be suitable for driving pipes. It emits
the noise of air escaping as it is working.

I like it because it requires virtually no maintenance, as compared to
electric vacuum pumps which require regular oil changes and eventually
wear out anyway.
