Creating Suction from Airflow - Venturi Vacuum
By Mickey Sadler

Hi all, Search the web for "venturi vacuum" and you can find lots
of info on venturis that use air to create vacuum. Woodworkers and
luthiers are using vacuum clamps for clamping for routing, gluing, etc.

For experiments get a water suction system from a aquarium supply.
I use one to suck the water out of my aquarium when changing water.
I have not tried it on air, but it is cheap enough to get one to try.
(These hook to a faucet and use running water to create the suction.)
