Beethoven Tempest Sonata, Op. 31, No. 2
By Randolph Herr

Hello MMDers: I have a few questions that are related:

1. Does anyone out there have any movements on Duo-Art of Beethoven's
Sonata Op. 31, No. 2, nicknamed "The Tempest", as played by Yolanda
Mero? I understand the roll numbers are 7410 and 7418, even though
it is a three-movement work.

2. I have a set of three Artona Duo-Art rolls from England, made about
15 years ago, with this Sonata played by Elly Ney. I have been told
that these rolls were not put out by British Aeolian, and so I wonder
if anyone has information about this.

3. As long as I am writing, who put out these Artona rolls, anyhow?

Thanks much, Randolph Herr
