Cost to Rebuild Antique Electric Motor
By Edward Skehan

I sent a 1/8 hp Emerson motor, out of a Seeburg L, to Bradford Electric,
East St. Louis, Illinois, because it was a little slow in starting.

They called me today and said the cost was $1350 -- that is thirteen
hundred and fifty dollars! -- plus the cost of shipment back to me.

I am still trying to catch my breath.
