Each year the GSM, the German mechanical music society, sends all its
members a Christmas present enclosed with the December issue of its
journal. The 2001 present was a CD of T-100 (Red) Welte-Mignon rolls
recorded by famous pianists, played by a Welte Vorsetzer on a new
Steingraeber E-272 concert grand piano. The CD was realized by player
piano expert Peter Zergiebel, of Rodewisch, Germany, in cooperation
with GSM and Klaviermanufaktur Steingraeber & Soehne of Bayreuth.
