The March 14, 1999, MMD carried this note from me:
"A couple of weeks ago someone on MMD was asking about the
circumstances of Claes Friberg's death. On one of her trips 'home'
to Denmark, my wife visited Claes and his then-new wife a year or so
before his death, which as I recall was caused by a heart attack.
Claes died fairly young -- my wife estimated him to be in his 40's.
I believe Dick Howe, down in Houston TX, knew Claes well and can give
better information than what I have offered here."
A historically fascinating web page by Terry Hathaway, quoting from
an unfinished, unpublished manuscript by his one-time partner Q. David
Bowers, gives further information about Claes, together with his
picture, and notes that he died in April 1996 at the age of 51.

Judging from a note posted by Angelo Rulli to the MMD on April 28,
1996, his death would have occurred on Thursday, April 25.
