-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --
Hello! I discovered your site and I enjoy it!
[ Bonjour, Monsieur Jean; I'm happy you found us!
I have a few questions to ask, but first I want to know if there
are special rules to send a message.
1. To answer someone, is the answer necessarily published in MMD,
or can we directly reply to the author?
[ You may reply privately to only the author or, if you wish,
[ you may reply to MMD <rolls@foxtail.com> and everyone will
[ read your message. If the author is not a MMD subscriber,
[ then send your reply to both addresses.
2. When replying to an offer, is it allowed to talk about money on-line?
Can we give telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses?
[ Certainly, you may give your own telephone number and email address
[ if you wish. But please respect the privacy of other folks. Maybe
[ they don't want their phone number and email addresses published on
[ the Internet.
3. A friend of mine is selling a Black Forest clock to restore. Should
I send his address and phone number to the fellow who is looking for one?
Perhaps I will ask him first.
[ Yes, that would be the polite way: ask the seller if it's okay to
[ send his information to someone else.
Here are the questions I would like you to offer on MMD. But perhaps
should I send separate questions to obtain different visible titles?
[ Yes. I will make separate messages for each topic that you write on.
Congratulations for this lively site.
Best regards from France,
Jean Nimal
