Duo-Art Cross Valve Leaking
By Ellsworth Johnson

I recall a Duo-Art grand I was restoring, back in the early 1960s,
with this problem with the cross valves.

I realized the valves were not able to align themselves properly
so I removed the top member of the cross and used a small precision
reamer and slightly enlarged the hole in the fiber guide. They
worked nearly perfectly after that.
