PayPal
By Paul Eggert

My only noteworthy anomaly involved a seller who would accept PayPal
for payment only if I had a bank account setup with them, not just
a credit card payment setup.

I had a PayPal account that I used to pay for purchases, but I was
always reluctant to go all the way (for my sales) and give PayPal
(& cyberspace) my bank account number.

Anyway, one seller insisted she would not complete the sale to me
unless I had the full bank account setup. I had never encountered
a seller with such a requirement. She refused to discuss her
rationale, and I could not discern one, unless this was somehow
a way to evade the 3% ?

So, she "declined" the PayPal transfer, it was credited back to me,
and I sent a USPS money order.
