Piano Without a Player Action Is More Valuable
By Steve Bentley

It is very hard to believe why a person would want a player action to
be removed; maybe by doing that it would enhance the tone and volume as
there would be less interference in the sound board area. More than
likely it is this. On the other hand these same persons are not 100%
musically appreciative.

I play piano myself, sometimes for two hours and at the end I will most
likely play a few rolls just to relax and "hear" someone else play.
