Seek Source of Replacement Lamp Bulbs
By Jim Grab
Not exactly a mechanical musical question, but does anyone know where
bulb replacements for the old General Electric Show and Tells can be
acquired? One had a number that looks like GE 100A, or the 'A' could
be a '4'. A bulb from a different unit has GE BAL 28V. A local
service man got a substitute bulb at a place that has a telephone
number of 1-800-TOP-BULB and while the base is the same and the
brightness seems to be the same, the glass portion is larger and hard
to make fit without a lot of modification. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
