Hello to All, I have just received the greatest Christmas 'A' roll of
all. Many thanks to Dave Junchen who arranged the songs for 'G' roll
in 1982. Thanks also to Frank Himpsl who masterfully transferred the
arrangements to 'A' roll format. Thanks to Ed Gaida of San Antonio who
punched it with perfection _and_ on beautiful green paper. And last
but not least, thanks to Don Teach of Shreveport, LA, who assisted in
this project.
If you have an 'A' roll piano you owe it to your piano to get this
roll. It sounds terrific on both of my pianos, one with reiterating
xylophone and one with single stroke xylophone.
I hope Ed will get some titles within my interest and continue to punch
rolls, this is one of the cleanest I have ever seen.

[ Jack Conway wrote, in 010828 MMD, that in 1982 Dave Junchen created
[ a 'G' roll which Ed Freyer published as Capitol Roll No. G-520,
[ "Christmas Songs". The songs on this roll are Frosty The Snowman,
[ I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer,
[ Silver Bells, Jingle Bells, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town,
[ Here Comes Santa Claus, White Christmas, Waltz Of The Flowers,
[ Sleigh Ride.

[ Don Teach said, in 971002 MMDigest, that Dave Junchen arranged the
[ music for Ed Freyer because Ed could not find an original G-roll
[ of Christmas music. Dave also arranged an 'O' roll of Christmas
[ music, as reported by George Bogatko in 991110 MMD. -- Robbie
