FS: Free Player Piano, Washington DC Area

Dear Mr. Toto: I have a circa 1920 player piano that unfortunately had
some water damage to the keyboard. Some of the ivory is still in good
shape, the case is in good condition and the mechanical parts, except
for the tubes, which are lead and mostly cracked.
My husband and I were paid by our insurance company to replace the
piano (it was appraised for approximately $2,500 as is). We are
willing to part with the piano for free if you can come and take it
away. We live in Springfield, Virginia, just outside the Washington,
D.C. beltway. We really hate to put it in the trash if it can be of
use to someone like yourself.
Please let me know if you are interested or if you know someone who
might be interested in having this piano. Thank you for your time.
