Repairing German Singing Bird Bellows
By Norman Gibson

I have a small German single singing bird in a cage in need of new
rubber bellows. Can anyone lead me to a source?

I contacted Ray Lins (MBSI) and he sent me to the clock parts catalog
at http://www.slarose.com/ I could not find anything like I am
looking for. About five years ago I found another one of these singing
birds and had it repaired. I am not sure who replaced the bellows for
me then.

The movement has two donut-shaped rubber bellows and one reservoir
bellows. I would like to try to make the repair this time. Everything
else is in good shape.

Thanks, Norm Gibson, Ocean Shores, Washington
