Dear MMDians, There've been some requests that I get the Malone 165
CDs up and running again. That may well happen. But right now, I have
a number of digital master recordings that I have never used yet.
They are undoubtedly the finest recordings I have ever made. I could
make two entirely new CDs from this, provided that the Malones approve.
But the sad truth is that less than 200 copies of each of the three
volumes of the Malone's 165 ever sold. In fact, I don't think even 100
of the last volume sold.
For such popular CDs, these did not sell very well. Perhaps I don't
know how to market these things. All I know is that when I sit down
and make each of these CDs individually for $10, I want to be able to
say, "Okay, it's a pain, but I know at least 1,000 are going out the
door." How do I achieve this kind of certainty?
