For Sale: 26-key barrel organ by Nechada of Odessa, circa 1910.
Photographs show that the case is decorated with paintings and
marquetry (inlaid wood). On the front are two painted dancing girls
and marquetry designs of flowers and cherubs. The maker's name and
address (in Cyrillic) are carved into the front:

ODESSA
On the rear is a large marquetry design of two rams in a pen. On the
side opposite the crank is another large marquetry design that appears
to be two wrestlers who are standing before the wrestling begins.

Made in 1910, by master Nechada, in Odessa.
size: width 49 cm, depth 34.5 cm, length 56 cm
The barrel plays 8 songs, all Russian songs.
30 pipes in the organ.
[ 14 pipes are exposed on the front of the organ.

On the roof inside there is a list of songs, the Russian
coat of arms and a portrait of Nikolai the 2nd.
There are two birds and musical composition 1760.
The organ is located in Moscow.
There aren't any repairs. It's in ideal condition.
Private property. It would be $20,000 in Moscow museums.
There aren't any similar organs in Moscow museums and private
collections. May be sold or exchanged for a car.
