Old Radio Shows
By Tom Lear

I would like to thank George Bogatko for posting that web site for Old
Radio Shows. Starting from that site I followed a number of links and
found this absolutely fabulous "Old Time Radio" site at
http://www.rusc.com/.

There are four, free sample, complete radio shows available for download
in MP3 format. I'm sure these would be of great appeal to the majority
of MMDers.

Sherlock Holmes in Murder by Moonlight - 1945

Fred Allen and Jack Benny on The Jack Benny Show
"How Jack and Fred Allen Met " - 1950
A classic episode from one of the longest-running comedy shows in radio
history. This episode is classic Benny and Allen at their very best.

Amos and Andy in "The Marriage Proposal Mix-up" 1944 -- A real scream!

I Love A Mystery - "The Ten Million Dollar Curse" Part 1 - 1948

For a modest fee you can download from a library thousands of old radio
shows. There are links to information about the shows too!

Unlike some of the other sites, on my way to this one, I found that
this one was easy to use, did not lock up my computer, and the files
would play through my Media Player, so I didn't have to fool around
with RealPlayer or Winamp. (RealPlayer and Winamp will work if you
prefer that format).
