Mid-Am Band Organ Rally - Monroe Michigan
By B Bronson

Hi All,

I'm writing in response to Mike Knudsen's request for info on the rally.

This year's Mid-Am rally is August 2-3, during the Monroe County Fair in
Monroe, Michigan. It is an agriculturally based fair with everything
from prize winning animals to farm equipment displays. There are
numerous food vendors and new product booths, free shows throughout the
day, a gigantic midway and this year, the right music! We will be
placing the organs all over the grounds as there are many nice spots
available. There is also a built crowd as they have been averaging over
20,000 people each day; Friday and Saturday.

Registration includes all admissions for playing Friday, and a picnic
style dinner that evening with a mechanical music open house at Bronson
Musikalle, in Dundee. The collection includes WurliTzer models 104,
146B, 153 and 157, a 121 Key Decap dance organ and several American
nickelodeons. Saturday kicks off with the renowned Mart, followed by
organ playing all day, back at the grounds, and is capped with a
banquet and entertainment.

Please email me with your address for more info.
