Conn Strobotuner Documentation
By Terry Smythe

Over the years, a number of Conn Strobotuner tuning machines have
passed through my hands. My current one is a Model ST-6, which by
chance came with all its documentation. On various newsgroups,
I noted that many such instruments are found without their
documentation.

Recently I was contacted by Gary Brookshire in Odessa, TX, regarding
some concerns he had with his Model ST-11. By chance he too had
found his instrument with its documentation. He kindly made high
resolution scanned images of his owner's manual and sent them to me.
I've just posted this documentation on my personal web site also.

Documentation for the Conn Strobotuner ST-6 and ST-11 are now both
available on my personal web site:

   http://www.mts.net/~smythe/conn.htm

If by chance there are others out there with documentation for
other models of the Strobotuner, hi-res scans or a loan, of it
would be appreciated, and I'll add them to this elusive library.

Since posting this documentation many months ago, I have been
astonished at how many people there are out there finding these
instruments without their original documentation. Typically,
I receive two or three requests per week from people in need of the
high resolution schematic. With no "visitor counter" at the web site,
I have no idea of how many people find this documentation without
requesting the hi-res schematics. Hope this helps somebody out there.

Regards,

Terry Smythe
