I am seeking advice regarding the possible liquidation of my entire
collection of mechanical Musical instruments and phonographs. General
disillusion of life in the rapidly decaying city of Atlanta and the need
to find a better place to live brings me to the decision to liquidate
my collection of mechanical musical instruments and phonographs.
I would love some feedback as to the most efficient method of doing
this. (I get the auction listings of Stantons and other galleries) and
wondered if any other members have gone through this process.
The collection includes, but not just, the following:
1925 Steinway Duo Art XR; Reproduco Piano pipe organ fully restored;
Coinola A mint original; Aeolian Grand; Farrand and Votey 2/man /pedal
with pipe top; Ampico top loader; Great Nickelodian "O' machine 1970's
Aeolian factory build up; Complete Edison cylinder and disc machines
2 min, 4 min and Laboratory Diamond; Disc; Victor Orthophonic Credenza;
Thousands of rolls for all the above; art case chinoiserie roll cabinet;
bird boxes and cages; Regina Disc machine; cylinder music boxes;
and lots more.
Thanks for any input.
