Organ Festival 24 February 2001 in Breugel NL
By Willem Kelders

To all MMD readers: On Sunday the 24th of February, 2002, we will
organise our annual open house organ festival. This year is already
the fifth year we will have this meeting at our workshop.

Playing at two different locations we will have a lot of guest organs,
among them several famous Dutch street, fairground and dance hall
organs. The top piece this year will be a Model 37 Ruth from the
Hinzen collection.

For the small hand-turned organs there will be a specially built stage
where we will have two special entertainment sessions during the day.
On the second floor will be a small swap meet going on, with items from
the mechanical music scene. Outdoors will be some juvenile rides and
side stalls which bring the right atmosphere. The complete building
will be decorated and illuminated in Art-Deco style.

The event will take place from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM at the RBA building,
St. Genovevastraat 24, 5694 AG Breugel, Netherlands. The event is
sign-posted from the motorway, and the entrance is free. More
