Bjorn Isebaert responded to a request for information on a barrel piano
by E. Mazzoletti barrel piano.  His response was very informative and
detailed.

I hope Mr. Isebaert, or someone, could give me information on Pierre
Van Roy, of Belgium, the maker of a barrel piano I recently acquired.
The address of Van Roy is on the label on the barrel as Rue
Meuleschnette 12, Alost.

Bowers' "Encyclopedia" gives only two sentences on Van Roy, saying that
he was from Belgium and apparently copied other makers designs, notably
Hupfeld.

I wonder what coin was used in the machine?  The best I can make out
near the slot is "10 ces".  My sincere appreciation for any information.
