Spring Motor in Barrel Piano
By Paul Manganaro

Just a note about barrel pianos. The clockwork winding mechanism was
a stock item. I don't know who made these but they are found in any
number of barrel pianos. Barrel piano makers would buy these
mechanisms from a supplier and install them in their instruments.
Maybe another MMDer would know the name of the manufacturer.

I have a clockwork mechanism in my barrel piano which was made in
Brussels and I have seen the same thing in a number of European
machines.
