How much more is an Ampico reproducing upright worth compared to a
standard player? In other words, all other things being equal, what
would the reproducing feature add to the value of an ordinary upright
player, as a percentage?
This is a 1920's Chickering upright piano with a very plain cabinet,
Ampico reproducing mechanism, original finish in fair to good
condition, that appears to have been rebuilt in the last 10 years
or so but is otherwise untampered with and quite original. The roll
is accessed from the top rather than the front. Any speculation as
to realistic value welcomed. Thanks in advance,
