Greetings to all of you who have so generously shared your knowledge
with me!  The interest you have shown in this neat little phonograph
has made me love it even more.  And it is, indeed, a historical
artifact!  I hadn't thought of it that way.

I am copying all the information you send and will put it with the
phonograph to be part of it's story.  Your recollections of portables
that you have seen or owned is so interesting.  It is people like you
that keep "where we came from" alive and well for generations to come.
Thank you for that.  (Besides that, it sounds like you are having fun
while you do it!)

I'm ashamed to admit that all this great input from all of you has made
me a bit greedy -- I want to know more!  I will be "listening" to hear
if there are any new breaks in this QRS mystery.
