Moeller Artiste Player Pipe Organ
By D. L. Bullock

To answer the questions about Moeller Artiste and their player system,
I have one of the old girls. Mine was built for Alexander McCurdy of
Curtis Institute in Philadelphia. I have documentation of his having
sent a box of cigars to Mr. Moeller. Mr. Moeller did special voicing
of the organ for McCurdy's residence. It is 3 ranks. They also made
a larger version with a trumpet added.

I later found an original player system for it. It has nearly 100
rolls for it as well. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to restore
the player yet. The organ, though disassembled, was in full working
order two years ago when I last moved it.

I believe a member of this group, Jim Weisenborne, owns the Moeller
roll cutters, masters, and all remaining players that the factory had.
He bought them from Moeller over ten years ago. He is a major
collector of organ player systems and was working toward owning one
of every organ player built. I hope he reached his goal.
