"Ori-Thematic Standard Music Roll Maker" Manual
By Jack M. Conway
Hi John, I have a copy of "Instruction Manual Ori-Thematic Standard
Music Roll Maker." It is 8-1/2 X 11 inches and about 30 pages. I am
fairly sure that I bought it from Vestal Press. I think that Durrell
Armstrong of Player Piano Company bought up remaindered stock when
Vestal Press was sold. He might still have some.

If you can't find a copy I would be willing to copy this one for you
for the cost of copying and postage.
I also have copies of "The Perforation of Music Rolls with the Leabarjan
Perforator" and "The Leabarjan Patent Music Roll Perforators." The
first is an instruction book showing the use of the style 5 an 8
perforators. Some of the scales look similar to the Ori-Thematic.
It has 32 pages, 8-1/4 X 11 inches.
The second is a catalog of perforators and supplies. It is 16 pages,
7 X 10 inches, with two inserts: (1) The Style 8-D Electric Duplicator
(1 page), and (2) The Leabarjan Manufacturing Co. (a 4-page equipment
and supply catalog).
An interesting part of this insert is are photos of the Elliot Stencil
Cutting Machine and a hand held roller being passed over the stencil to
print words on the piano roll. I don't remember this being mentioned
in the discussions of how to print words on new rolls today.
