Passing of Lyn Wright of MBSGB
By Alan Pratt

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Lyn Wright,
a long standing member of The Musical Box Society of Great Britain.
Lyn had been a member since 1966 ( No. 266) and was a regular
contributor to "The Music Box". He collected and restored many
instruments but had a special interest in automata.

His articles and drawings of singing birds were classics and brought
a wider understanding of these miracles of mechanical music to readers
of "The Music Box". Each year he compiled the index for the magazine
and for many years complied the annual Christmas crossword puzzle.

He died on December 28th, after a very short illness. He will be sadly
missed by his many friends.
