FS: 1957 Hardman Duo 45" Console Player Piano
By Thomas Ahearn

For Sale: 1957 Hardman Duo 45" console player piano. Made by Hardman,
Peck & Co. in the mid-late 1950's, these were the first of the "new"
player pianos made since the depression years. This one has a blonde
mahogany cabinet (scratched & worn); absolutely no plastic in the
construction (unlike the later ones), so everything is "rebuildable",
which this one needs. My first rebuild project was a 1924 Autopiano
back in 1964; all the rubber was hard as a rock, and the piano was
forty years old then.

This piano is 44 years old, so it needs the same work! The stack is
above the keyboard so it comes out easily, and it is easy to tune the
piano. If you've never restored one of these, it's a trip!

$250 or best offer. Located in Boston area.
