Music Roll Repair Table Needs a Curved Surface
By D. L. Bullock

When you make your roll repair device make sure to not have a flat
table area except for when you are punching new holes. For tape
repairs you should have a large curve with the roll spread over it.
Something like unrolling the roll over an oatmeal box. The curve will
keep the tape from puckering when you respool the roll into the tight
position it spends its life in.
