Value of Old Square Grand Piano
By Jon Page

Unless you have a ready customer for it, no. They do, however, make
great work benches once you remove everything and take the sides down
to the keybed. You might have to cover it with plywood or the lid if
it is not a level surface.

The legs and lid would make an interesting table in and of themselves.
The legs are too low for an adequate standing working height, but good
for sitting though.

I made taller legs (on casters) out of 2"x10" lumber, two lengths at
90 degrees braced on each end with a triangular piece of plywood. The
rosette which was cast into the plate was cut out and is mounted on the
wall. (There is another one next to it, the only thing salvageable
from that one was the rosette). This 7' Zimmerman has a new life!
