Piano Top Is Not For Roll Storage
By Jim Divoky

In a Pendleton, IN, antique/junk shop (which should be cited by the
fire marshal for its narrow aisles and items stacked above head level)
is a large 1878(?) Chickering grand piano. It has a small warning sign
which says, "Do Not Touch!" and gives the price, $25,000! But it takes
up a lot of space in the crowded shop, so what better place to display
additional gems in the shop's collection then inside the piano. It
must have one hundred pounds of stuff just laying on the strings. I
suspect someone could pick it up for less than the asking price.
