I'm looking for a copy of the 1977 bio-pic "Scott Joplin", featuring
Billy Dee Williams and Art Carney.   Again, VHS or Beta format is okay.

I found a new copy on Wal-Mart's web site, but when I tried to buy it,
their interactive shopping cart page came back with an error message
to the effect that it could not sell internationally.    Grrrr... the
urge to spit nails!  :-(  Curiously, while in the US recently, I did
drop into a Wal-Mart store, did make a major purchase, and they did
happily accept my "international" Visa card.    Oh well...

I posted a similar appeal on the ragtime newsgroup for the video of
Joplin's "Treemonisha" (1975 Houston Opera Co.) and the 1977 Scott
Joplin movie.  That inquiry led to a copy of "Treemonisha" through
Amazon Z-Books and the Wal-Mart lead.     Treemonisha is on its way
to me now.

The combined experience was a fine example of the 'Net at its best and
at its worst.  I would appreciate hearing from somebody who might have
a copy of the 1977 movie and may be prepared to part with it.
