Mechanical Musical Instruments of Russia
By Kevin McElhone

I do not think instruments were made in Russia, but certainly
a lot of Russian musical box and organette tune discs are listed
on my database of tunes made.

Some companies had offices and retail outlets in Moscow and St.
Petersburg; Zimmerman, for example, sold organettes in several
companies.

I have seen instruments such as Polyphons with retailers labels
from Russian cities, but they certainly were not made there, only
sold there.
