"The Golden Age of Automatic Musical Instruments"
By Michael Woolf
My copy of the book arrived yesterday and after only a brief glance
I was moved to write this note of appreciation to the author. I'd like
to share it with you:
"Dear Art. You've done it. If ever a need was filled this is it.
"I just want to tell you that I've received my copy of the book today
(there was a mail holdup) and have barely opened it. I felt a little
sentimental as I leafed through a few of the pages. An object of
beauty, to be treasured for a lifetime: a source of wonder and of
peace, and perhaps just what the world of mechanical music collecting
needs at this time: an inspiration to younger collectors and a
nostalgic treat for those of us with more years under our belts.
"From my heart, thank you for this. Truly it can be called 'A work
of Art!' Best wishes and more power to your pen."
