My tracker bar is not an original, but one bought from MSI decades ago.
It appears to be similar to the PPCo frame. The tracker bar has none
of the spare holes except the zero hole before hole one, and an extra
one after 88. This makes hole 8 on my scale, hole number 13 on yours.
All the other instruments play as expected except the sustain and soft
pedal. I'm sure the tubing is correct.
On your suggestion, I checked vacuum fluctuation. I noticed no other
instruments behaving marginally, and I noted that the action of the
sustain pedal is crisp, and corresponds to the perforations. I'm
coming to the conclusion that the orchestration of the sustain and
soft pedal are simply bad. They make no musical sense, and appear to
go on and off at random. I disabled both of them until I can get a
few more O Rolls and check out the action.

[ You wrote in 011120 MMDigest, "I'm finally finishing up my O Roll
[ built-up." If your roll frame accepts standard player piano spools,
[ you will enjoy the series of 5-tune O-rolls offered by Play-Rite.
[ Many of the arrangements are by master arranger P. M. Keast.
[ Play-Rite split 10-tune O-rolls into 5-tune rolls, mounted on
[ medium size player piano spools, especially for the built-up coin
[ pianos built by Universal Piano Co. and others in the 1970s.
