> At eBay auction: Telelectric player system

The Tel-Electric player system currently listed on eBay is a great
buy for anyone interested in the system. This one is complete except
for the motor-generator, a real rarity for Tel-Electric. Usually the
console alone will go for around $300, and the magnet bank around the
same, if you can find one.
The parts one almost never finds are also included: the pedal magnets,
and the pull-down wires and screw-eyes that attach to the bottom of
the keys. (The pneumatic offered is not part of the Tel-Electric system,
which was all electric.)
The model offered is fairly early, probably around 1910, which means
it has the better "expression", such as it is. Later models were
fancier, but had a more limited range of "expression". A motor
generator unit occasionally turns up, but it can easily be replaced
with a modern power supply.
I'll be glad to answer any questions about the system.
