About the indoor carousels there is a wonderful book written by
Marc Grodwohl, "La fantastique epopee des carrousels-salons ("The
fantastic epic of the carousel salons"). The publisher is Editions
Ecopark S.A. & Oberlin; ISBN 2-85369-112 8 [1 novembre 1990]
This book is in French, but with many black & white and colour pictures
(88 pages). The author is the manager of the Eco-Museum of Alsace, a
park with the memory of the typical country of Alsace, and inside you
can look at the very nice Demeyer carousel. You can learn also the
story of the Eden-Palais. An example of each is in the Sanfilippo
collection.

[ salons : quand le bonheur ne tenait -- qu'a un tour de cochons"
